Did you know that the Mushroom Festival is a non-profit, all volunteer organization? Did you know that the festival board of directors gave $60,000 to 32 different non-profit organizations from the 2007 festival proceeds? This year there is a $2 admission fee for all those 12 and older.
All will receive a 2008 festival wristband and a raffle ticket for a chance to win a $500 gas card.
Money collected will go directly into our grant fund. We will also give the Kennett Fire Company a portion of the proceeds for their help in making this possible.
The Mushroom Cap is the headquarters for the Mushroom Festival. We have brochures, t-shirts, mugs, postcards, cookbooks and more.
